GuestRoots is a platform that connects travelers with pensions and guesthouses across Central Europe. We provide listing information and facilitate direct contact between travelers and property owners. We do not process bookings or payments directly.

3. User Accounts

  • You may sign in using a third-party provider (e.g., Google). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
  • You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent listings or inquiries.
  • Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the Service without permission.
  • Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service.
  • Impersonate any person or entity.

5. Listings & Content

Pension owners are responsible for the accuracy of their listing information, including pricing, availability, amenities, and photos. GuestRoots does not verify or guarantee the accuracy of any listing content.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on GuestRoots — including logos, design, text, and graphics — is owned by or licensed to GuestRoots and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of any listed property.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GuestRoots shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to any issues arising from accommodation bookings made through contacts found on our platform.

9. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will indicate the date of the last update at the top of this page.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Austria. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Vienna, Austria.
